Sorry, but I suggest you don't put your new device in your pocket or you'll be in the same boat next month. Twisting or bending of the devices seems to be the bigger killer of screens than direct hits or drops (I've dropped mine a few times and never had an issue). If you look at some of the teardown pics you'll see it's the very thin sheet of glass behind the screen that breaks. Twisting or bending of the case can stress and eventually lead to cracks in this glass.
