I posted here really to ask if anyone had ever seem anything similar- I was not really asking for a fix, as I know the plug-in is frozen as-is unless someone takes over its development.
I don't want to double post ( that' s against rules I think) - but I'd be happy for a mod to move the thread
as for a test book, I see no point.
Rather then me try to guess how much of an extract is allowed to be uploaded within copyright rules here... it is clearly an issue with that header code , so just paste that given line into sigil to make a "book". There are 50+ occurrences of that within the book I reckon - different words, same doubling of text in the kepub conversion. I can provide the relevent gif & any class definitions if needed.
Or anyone contacting my via PM can have a copy of the whole epub book for testing.
The Book is "Wireless" by Charles Stross.
I'll happily to & fro with extracts etc for anyone working on replicating/ debugging, but I will wait to be contacted. For now I'll just finish reading it on a tablet instead, as epub.
I checked the original also in ADE on PC & it displays correctly.
