I have done a factory reset and set the glo up again; account, books etc.

I can connect to my friends protected network fine, WEP -64bit.
But I cant connect to any open (unprotected) free networks, like McDonalds etc.
I get an "unable to connect to network" error and then an "oops, something went wrong"

I've tried selecting the network from the list, and adding the network manually with no joy.

Any ideas why I can't connect or what else to try?
Many of the open wireless networks require some type of login via a web browser after you connect to the network. I have had limited success by connecting to the network and then opening the web browser to see (1) if a login page comes up and (2) if I can use the login page.

David
