You can look at which are easest to find where you are. Differences are mostly minor. If you go for frontlight, most known are kindle and kobo and they have several models. Without frontlight, add nook and sony. If you are in Europe, there is also tolino. Standard size is 6 inches, but they could be bigger and smaller. I don't believe either will be mistake.
