With help from these forums, I used Calibre and K2pdfopt to convert the pdf to a form I can enjoy reading on my cheap Chinese ereader. The only problem is that the I have to remember the page no. each time I turn off the reader - it doesn't go straight to where I left off, as it does with epubs.
