No, not really. If you read Sony's description of it, what it actually says is that the screen is "optimized to accommodate 8.5” by 11” documents", which is something rather different. It basically means that it's the same size as a typical 8.5x11" page if you ignore the blank margins.

Agreed. The so-called "colour" Trident eInk screen is just a colour mask in front of a standard B&W eInk screen, and it pretty horrible. The colours are pale and unsaturated, and the resolution is poor.
