I'm not 100% what you should do with this information, but at least you know that if someone contacts you and tells you that their installation is running slowly, at least you have something to tell them.
It is too bad that we didn't think of trying the "Clean Database" function first. I would love to know if that actually does something useful. It supposedly repacks the database and reorders the information into some better order, which is what your reload also did.
