Either the power getting to the T68 is enough for it to take and send to the battery or it's not. There is no middle ground. I can charge my iPad 1 using the iPad charger or the iPhone charger, Granted that using the iPhone charger will take longer because the amperage going to the iPad is less. But the iPad will accept it and charge.

On my wife's iPad 3, the iPad actually says not charging when used with a charger that's not got enough output like the USB port of most computers.

My T1 will charge with the Sony wall wart, the nook wall wart, the iPhone wall wart, and the iPad wall wart. But with the Apple wall warts, I do have to use my special charging cable.

Power is power. Either it's enough for the T68 to accept or it's not. If the T68 shows it's charging and you do see the battery meter at a higher value when you unplug the charging cable, then the wall wart is good enough to charge it. If it's not, it won't show charging and the battery meter will not increase. This fallacy that the bootloop is caused by the charger is garbage. Most likely it's caused by a faulty battery giving the T68 false reading.
