Well , ther is this from the Christmas Wish List thread.

Vivaldi Rules -

Looking around a bit, I have a few ideas:

BookishDreamer: a box of crayons (her avatar is looking a bit pale, at the moment).
bgDeb: a new towel (a little smaller?)
pshwynk: a real model seaplane (no, not a BMW)
DixieGal: a full banana split
Slite: a great big, wet, slobbery doggie kiss
Queen Zee: ditto
RSE: a second floor

What say ye?

My response was -

What, and deprive people from saying I don't have anything upstairs.

My avatars are from a group of architectural goofs pictures. This is the latest. I may shift to something else soon.

More seriously, South Texas may not get it's first freeze until after Christmas. Maybe 5 out of 10 years. On the other hand, there aren't many professional jobs there, and the pay is low. <Shrug> That's why I'm in DFW. Remember, though, that Summer hits by May 1, and stays until Oct 1 there. And I do mean summer. Highs around 98-100 constantly, lows around uppper 70s. And it does freeze every year, so no outside tropical plants. And a city gov't that would make a Chicago native feel right at home....
