No... just immortal. I still break often. I just don't spend a lot of time bitching and moaning about it. Once or twice, to get it off my chest, then I look for the positive side of it all. In this case, it's the sorely needed effort put into the most mind-numbing, blindingly boring side of the sport... footwork and form. Unfortunately, footwork really is critical, but I've been relying upon good strategy and fast reflexes (the fun stuff) to overcome my really rotten footwork. Not no mo.... And also on the bright side, I won't need to carry in all my weapons (2-3 foils, 2-3 epees, and two masks,) when I go to the fencing salle tomorrow. They really do get heavy. I leave my fencing shoes at the club, so all I'll need to bring are my breeches and knee socks, and a dry shirt to change in to when I'm done! That, and a towel to sop up my tears as I watch everyone else playing and having fun....
