And I thought that that there can be a happy ending (in my case getting back a few bucks, and I don't mean getting even, I only mean maybe a $50 on the original investment - and that was almost $500). Even if I get this THING back ever - and my hopes are not high, I have not heard from French yet - how can I sell this THING in good faith (I have one taker in the office, but I don't want a lifetime enemy). I mainly did it because there is someone in my office willing to risk it. Now I can hope it will be lost in the mail and I will never hear of France again. I am not going to investigate if it's lost (USPS is not excellent, but it has a way of tracking the items, and even they have no faith in tracking once the item reaches France - obviously BAD EXPERIENCE). I have no time for this.
As far as I'm concerned, Bookeen is dead. My time and effort are non-refundable, and this is truly the last French made product (with the exception of cosmetics, maybe, I am not going to really check the maker of my shampoo or perfume that carefully), that I bought.
I would really appreciate HarryT comments on that one, am I missing something???? Old English Humor??? Better that French (obviously)??
