Verify the font really got embedded (it is easy to ignore the no fonts found to embed' message during the process)

Enable 'Use publishers fonts/styles' (or equivalent) on the device (took me 3 times to get it right on my K4NT ).

Buy a different device that honors the Publisher styles out of the box, rather than make you jump thru hoops to use that?
