Well, I had the change to play with wireless broadband Internet on a commercial long-haul flight, and ever since, I know what it means to be truly connected no matter where you are. It's definitely great. But do I need? I don't know, right now, most of my time I am connected through wired LAN even though my notebook has WiFi-builtin. Why? Because I found my home LAN to be more reliable, faster, and without a hint of radiation Then also, my PDA has WiFi built-in. But to tell you the truth, I hardly use. When I need to up- or download, I usually use the cradle and thanks to Softick Card Export, I can use it just like any other USB mass storage device.

To make it short, I think while we are definitely heading towards a wireless future, I could just as well survive without it (at least for some time).
