Also, when buying on eBay, look for a reputable dealer (99% or higher seller rating). I bought my Kindle 4S on eBay from a seller that sells lots of items and had an over 99% seller rating. I also looked at the buyer feedback which was overwhelming positive. By looking at the seller feedback and asking the right questions, you can get a quality used Kindle that works for a great price.
