Thanks for the info. I contacted BoB this morning about the issue and I was told that the PDF files should render exactly the same as the EPUB files on the Sony Reader. I hope he's right.
I'm feeling a bit burned by my first eBook experience! But as with anything new, it'll take some mistakes to learn.
