Most of the apps I want are available on Ipad and not on android. I like board games and the games that I like tend to start on IOS and some migrate to Android but not many. You are talking about games there sell for $5 to $25 and those do not sell as well on Android.

I cannot look them up at work but it is a common complaint mentioned on board Game Geeks, so much so that there is an IOS games section and they specifically highlight when a game is being made for both Android and IOS or when a game has migrated. But they almost all start on IOS.

Heck, kickstarters for these games list Android apps as a stretch goal.

I have an IPad 3 and might upgrade sometime in the near future. Probably as LM gets closer to an age that I am comfortable with letting him use an IPad on a semi regular basis. Maybe a year from now.
