Thanks mainly to conversations in this and previous threads, that I used to just skim, I finally decided to try out the EpubSplit plugin for Calibre.

I love it! Thank you everyone who has briefly mentioned it in passing for the past year or so. I've spent most of the afternoon splitting my anthologies and boxed sets into single books and rearranged my library, and everything is so much more manageable now. Yay for plugins!
