I don't expect a Chinese programmer to be good in English. I do expect a Chinese company who wants to do business with an English speaking market to engage with someone who could do a respectable -- and respectful -- job with their communications.

Good point! It's just like some of the self-published ebooks that I see--horrible grammar, frequently misspelled words, you name it. The authors may not be able to use good English, but unless they just totally are broke financially, they can have someone proofread what they've written and make the necessary corrections.
What really gets me is how someone can have so many misspelled words--nearly everything that you can enter text on nowadays has a spellchecker, including this box here that I'm writing in now! Do these authors ignore the flags for misspelled words? Do they turn the spellchecker off? Are they too lazy to look up the correct spelling for the words flagged by the spellchecker? What?
