I'm a big fan of Open Road and I don't even know any of the authors in that list above.

They also publish a lot of literary fiction like William Styron, Michael Chabon, Mary McCarthy, Alice Walker, Pat Conroy, and Pearl S. Buck. They seem to acquire ebook rights from that time period where the book is not public domain but the original publisher doesn't own ebook rights because no one had thought of such a thing.
They also participate in Overdrive; my library has around 2,000 Open Road titles, and I can read them on my Kindle.
Finally, they run a LOT of promotions. At any given time they have a lot of titles for $0.99 to $2.99. So it is worth taking a look whether or not you decide to do KU.
