Location syncing in sideloaded books
So, I have started using the Kindle app for Android as my backup reader, when I am out without my Aura HD and just have my phone with me. It turns out Kindle will location sync even my sideloaded books (tried it between my phone and my iPad.)

Is there any compelling reason why Amazon should be willing to implement this, and Kobo will not?
