The children's publisher IP Factly has 3 books free right now in the Kindle/mobi (at least) format. IP Factly has produced gazillions of non-fiction books for the little crumb crunchers. All of their books that I have looked at are very well done, including having beautiful photographs. They're so well done that I even get them for myself (no kidding!) when they're free.
The
Orca book is "aimed mainly at the 7 and under age range;" the
25 Top Predators and
Desert Animals books are for age level 8-14.
Why couldn't there have been cool books like these in the days when I was growing up (I'm getting on up in years, but, yes, printing had been invented by then. (ha)).
