By way of comparison, the KU plan offers a fair number of books by John Jakes, whereas Scribd only offers a single title. Unfortunately, I had previously purchased most of the John Jakes titles. I haven't checked the other authors yet, but there are certainly several I'm interested in.

It's great to see a subscription plan offered by a mainstream vendor, even if the large publishing houses aren't yet included.
