Surely you've at least heard of J.R.R. Tolkien and The Lord of the Rings?
These are indeed notable, award-winning, successful authors. I intentionally picked an ecclectic mix from travel to contemporary literature to fantasy and young adult. I'm positive you can find some of them in the Seattle library.
