Scribd and Oyster both have Android and iOS apps. Their services and catalogs are very similar so it's tough to choose between them. Both have major publishers HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster. I prefer Oyster because they also have Houghton Mifflin Harcourt books which expands the selection to famous authors such as Lois Lowry, Tolkein, Philip Roth, Amos Oz, Paul Theroux, Jasper Fforde, Jhumpa Lahiri, Umberto Eco, and many more. Their interface is also more polished. Both companies have apps that are limited in features (mainly missing options to change margins, line-spacing and justification), and they both have pluses and minuses that counter each other. Both Scribd and Oyster have dictionaries in the iOS versions.
