As the title says, i want to try and get irc up and running on the eDGe pocket, is it possible?

my dream would be an e-reader i can view, read and type on irc and is also connected via a 3g sim of my choosing. modding or external parts is not an issue.

I liked the look of the eDGe and saw i might be able to solder in a 3g qualcomm sim reader. got a bid on one on ebay, im happy to just play on it and see if it find it useful, will be my first reader

hoping i get it for 50gbp or so.
