My solution is simple: I don't use the Kindle App. My entire library is in Calibre, and I have all my books in both Kindle and ePub formats. Moon+ (ePub app) works great on the T68.

There is no storage limit for books: I have a 32GB SD card in my T68, and my 4000+ books are currently using about 3.5GB of that.
