Thank you for offering assistance.

I did not have email set up on my last computer. Everything came over beautifully.

I did find the way to check the settings and my gmail address is spelled correctly. Perhaps my confusion lies in the two boxes: one says email name and the other has "@gmail.com" already typed in. I tried using it by leaving the second box as is and only putting the first part of my address without the @gmail.com in the first box.

That did not work, so I added the full address to each box and that did not work, either.

Perhaps if I try again and copy the failure response, that would help troubleshoot?

I will try to do that later today.
