The last firmware a PRS-650 received is from March 2011. I know the PRS-T1-2-3 have not had a problem with the long paragraph bug with the T1 having been released August 2011. So it would appear Sony have not had issue with the long paragraph bug since middle 2011 but sadly did not bother fixing it for the 650. Also of note is that the Montano eReading app (who uses adobe reader mobile same as Kobo and also experienced this bug) fixed it about a year or two ago. So yeah, I am going to chalk how long it took for Kobo to fix the long paragraph bug up to Kobo's poor support as others have had this fixed as early as 2011.
