So I think I'm going to start reading the Codex Alera series later this year. Or, at least, reading the first one and see how it goes. It's not the sort of thing I'd usually read. If it wasn't by Jim, I probably wouldn't look twice. But it is. And I love Jim. And Jim's hair.
