Merge Book Records question
When I merge duplicate books... I have found that not all metadata is kept. For instance it drops the pubdate.
Example:
Book 1: author - title - no publisher - no pubdate - no comments
Book 2: partial author - incorrect title - publisher - pubdate - comments
When merging I select book 1 then book 2. Book 2 merges into book 1...
it keeps author and title from book one
copies comments from book 2 since book 1 has no comments
copies publisher from book 2 since book 1 has no publisher
but drops the pubdate which is empty in book 1
Is there away to specify that it keep pubdate if merge book has a blank field?
