Someone mentioned this author/series recently and I found it available at the
Kindle Owners' Lending Library (does this still exist or has
Kindle Unlimited replaced it). I've begun reading the first novel in the series,
The Tall Dolores (Ed Noon #1) by Michael Avallone.
