Open Season is my very favorite Linda Howard. I don't think anyone can make suspense humorous the way Howard does. The suspense in this particular book is really in the background to characters and their relationship. I also gave The Story Guy 4.5 stars which is pretty darn high for a novella on my stingy rating system.
