It doesn't start that way, but I'd say it starts to lean heavily that way by book 2 or 3.

This is her first foray (I think) into self publishing. She's better known for her Eli Monpress series (which I didn't love, but to each their own). I forget which trad publisher published that series, but I know it was trad.

It's five dollars, but coupons work. It's also YA, but has some very cool characters and fun plot. There were a few typos (very, very minor--a missing word now and then).
