Yeah -- the proposed new macbook would be Leopard. That alone might help!

WOW... Deb... I just got this working. Took a while... believe me. I will be writing up the steps to do it soon. I think the biggest issue is that you need to install libgd which wasn't installed on my Mac. I am wondering it if is part of the optional dev tools. I will check that next. Other than that it needs to be downloaded, compiled and installed. If you don't do this you can install the GD perl module.
