@kaufman: thanks for the debug log. With it I confirmed that the problem is caused by skipping showing a single first letter and was able to repeat the crash.
Small request: when you send a debug log could you erase the @multipie address? There is no reason to fill up my son's mailbox with things I am dealing with.
