i came here with the same enquiry -but mine has reset ok via the menu option. After reset i had to restart before it reset properly. Now it still shows the serial as 0000000000 but the bodgy email addy is gone. Books re-downloading from calibre now. Thanks again to the regulars here - davidfor and flyboy320 particularly.
