Blackcollar certainly isn't bad, but it feels like it's missing something and I can't quite put my finger on it. It's also possible that I'm just disappointed that I'm finished with the other series and I'm treating Blackcollar like a rebound relationship. I haven't finished the first one yet and I'll probably read the second in the series, anyway, just to see if it grows on me.
