Checking in
I bought one book this week. Ending my dry spell!
I have been totally absorb into the Fever world for the past week. Atunah was right you forget everything while reading. I barely slept and then needed my next Fever fix. I just finished it. Oh Man Jericho Z Barrons is the alpha or all alphas. He makes all other alphas look like boy scouts. (Sorry Ranger). I never thought I would be attracted, repulse and scared of a character but he is just WOW. I don't know how else to describe this guy. Beyond antihero...He is just scary!!
- FaeFever by Karen Marie Morning (4 stars) The Ending OMG!!! Not for the faint in heart.
- Dreamfever by Karen Marie Morning (5 Stars) The Ending almost made me stop the series I even went looking for spoilers before continuing to the next book and I called the author some not so nice names.

- Shadowfever by Karen Marie Morning (5 Stars) KMM wraps up the series perfectly resolving and revealing everything. I thought the first part of the book was very slow but I was reeling from the ending of the other book. The authors ties it all together and keeps you guessing till the very end. Nothing Predictable in this series! Nothing happens as you think it will. Nothing! This series follows no formula.
I think this series is one of a kind. I think it is very adult though. It's violent and there is rape in it. Not really romance but there is some romantic elements though they are buried under everything else. This is my first Urban Fantasy series I actually finished. While it gets dark it not really that dark compared to some UF I tried and had to quit.
I am reading Iced by Karen Marie Morning which is a spin off and it's not so great it's Dani story and she only 14 and has all these
older men drooling over her. Sorry author but it feels so wrong!! I'm only reading it to get insight into the other characters.
I am also reading Angel's Blood by Nalini Singh and see if it hooks me. Right now I am feeling so lost as I know no other series like Fever and I am on a Urban Fantasy kick. It has to have some romantic elements in it though and not be too dark. It's very tough to know where to go from here. One thing I loved about fever was the character development of the hero from being a all American innocent girl to a strong Kick butt heroine. It was awesome to watch that. So I am looking for something that has that element in it.
