It's also possible - depending on your country that you're signed in with - that it's two perfectly fine epub copies of the same book, just by different publishers.

Especially in many not-English-speaking countries, both the US and UK publishers of the same book seem to have worldwide rights (and sometimes neither does), so it's fairly common to have both.

I usually choose first based on whether the book was likely to have been written in American or British English (I'd rather not get an Americanised version of a book set in London, written by an English author, for example) and second based on the price.

If you add both books to your library ("Save Preview"), you should be able to see if they say Adobe DRM Epub or something else in the library.
