Hi all!
I've been lurking here for a while, in the course of researching the iLiad. I'm fascinated by the device, it looks like it's exactly what I've been looking for.

In addition, I have recommended checking it out to my workplace, a small publishing house, for reviewing manuscripts. In that regard, I wonder exactly what the possibilities are for annotating for instance PDFs:

Does anybody know if it can save handwritten annotations directly into the PDF as objects or somesuch? Probably not, but then: Does the Iliad apply annotations as a sort of superpositioned mask? What I'm getting at, is that in addition to add bookmarks to a page, we would like to be able to apply notes and editing marks at an exact position in the text for later review, much like you can scribble at a printed page.

I have read the different threads in addition to searching, but couldn't find an answer to this. Sorry if it has been answered elsewhere after all, be kind

Thanks!
