What are the publishers for the books you are attempting to buy with the books? I don't know for sure about the UK, but in the US, none of these publishers or their subsidiaries allow coupons: Macmillan, Penguin-Random House, Simon & Schuster, Harper Collins, and Hatchette. Search for the author of one of your books you are interested in. On the left there should be an option to select only the books eligible for promo codes. If you select it, and none of the books show up, it's because the publisher (and/or Kobo) is not allowing it.

If you select one of the books eligible for promo codes, will it take your promo code (you don't have to buy it)?
