I've recently been reading more pbooks, especially in bed, where I read a lot so I can sleep.
It's much more of a faff turning pages with a pbook, holding the book up with the pages open etc laying in bed than it is compared to an ereader where I can just tap the screen.
That and the ereader is backlit as well, so less disturbing for my wife.

Since you own the Kobo Glo, I believe you mean frontlit.
I don't even notice a lag. In fact, I don't think there is a lag. With my Kobo Aura HD and Kindle Paperwhite II, everything seems instantaneous.
I, too, enjoy reading in bed, since my fontlit ebook readers are very unobtrusive to my snoring wife.
