I just discovered a goldmine and need someone to come take my credit card away from me
Someone I follow on Twitter posted this lovely innocent-looking tweet: "
Huge e-book sale at @wtsbooks" followed by a link. At first I was baffled; to my knowledge, the Westminister Bookstore didn't sell ebooks. But, curious as a cat as usual (ok, it was the word "
sale" that did it
), I forwarded the tweet to my email. As soon as I got home I checked it out and,
et voilą, a goldmine of many great books at only
$1.99!! And the best part is, they're DRM-free, so very convertable to epub (they're mobi files). I've already bought, cough, a few. Only a little over 300 books available for now but, according to the ebooks info page, they're testing the waters before expanding. And they do gift certificates, for those who care about such.
