More Credits from Audible?

I got this information from another site. He rightly states "YMMV" (Your Mileage May Vary).

Here's the scoop. He had logged into his audible.com account to cancel his membership yesterday since the promo period was soon to expire. The website asked him the reason for cancellation and he responded it was too expensive for him. On the next page they offered him a 20$ credit toward any book if he continued being a member.

My membership expires in a few weeks, but I couldn't conscientiously say that it was too expensive since I have the ListenerLight plan ($9.95/year).

If you decide that you want to try it, but have the $10 Budget customer credit on your account, you might want to spend the credit first in case you would be put on another plan and lose it. I don't know that that would actually happen, but I just "put it out there" for you to think about.
