As I said, in some circles it did and still does. By strict definition, go with Blossom's history, but lots of people never read either--so they only know the genre by the covers. I never read the kind of books Blossom is talking about, but certain read plenty with covers like you posted. I still used the term and generally don't assume when I see it that the person is using it under the strictest of terms.
