Hey they were going off last night (the 5th) here, too. My little dog (rat terrier mix) is terrified. My DH took her in with him. Thankfully there weren't as many as the 4th. Oh and 5 a.m. on the 5th, or thereabouts, the stupid smoke alarm went off (it was dusty inside, I guess) and she is scared of that, too! Poor thing.
