@jdubon3: Unfortunately, AFAICT, that would mean digging into the behavior of the Special Offers system, which I'm loathe to do, for obvious reasons.

(That's the *other* reason why I never looked into it. I don't really want to open a can of worms. That's assuming I could even figure something out of it, which is a whole other thing .)
