For about nine more hours (it's currently 7 am, July 5, US Pacific time), the four books in the Jacob Burns mystery series by Matt Witten are on sale as Kindle Countdown deals in the Amazon US store.

Right now three of them (The Killing Bee, Grand Delusion, Breakfast at Madeline's) are $0.99 and the other one (Strange Bedfellows, the third in the series) is free. Not quite sure why you would make the third one free, but WTH...

This series was published in DTB by Signet a while back, and I remember reading a couple of them and enjoying them.
