I have a problem with the Portable Version Of Calibre 1.42 when bookmarking EPub files(E-Book Viewer), on my Laptop (Windows 8). The bookmark doesn't open where I stopped, and it is hard to remember exactly where I stopped reading, the next day. Also, the page number doesn't change when you recall a bookmark. You actually have to resize the window, to get the page number to change at the top left hand of the window.

It would be nice if there could be a bullet in the window on the line where you left off.

Also I notice that the page seems to get stuck near the end of a chapter. Using the down arrows becomes impossible to forward a line. You have to press the down arrow multiple times and it normally skips to the next chapter, or past the next chapter. And sometimes there are four or five lines that you can't read at the end of the chapter. It's actually very hard to read the end of a chapter, or to be sure that you have read to the end of the chapter.
