After Kobo processed your refund, did they tell you any easy way to determine before purchase if a particular Kobo book will work on a Sony reader?
I've read on this forum that it's possible to download a preview and then see if epub is available, but that seems like a lot of extra steps, if you already know what book you want and just want to buy it quickly.
Although I did do the Sony-to-Kobo transfer process, I have not actually bought anything from Kobo and this issue is the main reason why.
